Parallels

A tactile and visually historical interpretive display commemorating the original Center for Independent Living (CIL) headquarters, an organization and ongoing movement representing civil and accessibility rights for individuals with disabilities. The permanent installation incorporates braille and historical photos etched onto stainless steel describing major milestones in the history of the CIL.
